MOTORISTS are facing delays following closures on a section of the M27.
Traffic is currently slow between Junction 8 at Bursledon and Junction 9 at Park Gate, with 20-minute delays for those approaching.
It comes as diversions are in place while the M27 is closed between Junction 9 at Whiteley and 11 at Fareham.
Works to install a footbridge on the motorway are currently underway during the closure.
It is the latest in a long list of works taking place along the major stretch of road to transform it into a Smart Motorway.
