Following your story on the 28th August - 'NHS Test and Trace system issues for Southampton residents' By William Rimell I tied to book a test on the online system, I live in Eastleigh.
Yesterday Serptember 3 - I was given one option only - Newport on the Isle of Wight, which would have meant getting on the ferry.
Today - three options - Gatwick (82 miles away) and two centres in Wales (both over 100 miles away).
I then phoned 119 and found there is plenty of testing available today close-by at numerous sites including Winchester (5 miles away).
This must raise concerns that some are taking the site at face value and are still making these long and potentially unsafe journeys.
