Further to the letter writer by Aloma Hack, regarding the Compass Inn, this person states “why would you want to visit a place that in patronised by those people who want an adult only environment?”, well myself, my family and many other people would do so.
It is impossible to enjoy a meal where children, out of control run around screaming, and possibly spreading the virus?
There are plenty of family pubs/eateries to take your children, so what’s the big deal?
Apart from that, the pub is gluten free, which is very important for people suffering from coeliac disease.
So give the landlady a break, it’s her Pub, she runs it very well, and if parents can’t t control their lovely children, I don't blame her for not wanting them.
Good for her.
I admire her.
