A VAN has been completely destroyed after bursting into flames on a busy Southampton road.

Emergency services raced to Millbrook Road West after a blue Mercedes van burst into flames at around 12.40pm today.

Firefighters from Redbridge Fire Station were on the scene to tackle the blaze.
