TWO PEOPLE have been rushed to hospital following an accident on the M27.
A man and woman have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the M27.
The collision involved a Renault and Toyota and led to the westbound carriageway between J5 and J7 being blocked.
A child and another man were treated by paramedics at the scene following the incident at around 2pm today.

Crews from Hightown, Redbridge and St Mary's fire stations were sent to assist.

Meanwhile, motorists were urged to avoid the area due to long delays.
Both lanes of the motorway have since reopened.
