Southampton Magistrates Court
A man has appeared in court after a fire broke out at a Southampton home last week.
Ashley Pankewycz, 30, of Andersons Road was charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life.
It follows an incident in Millbrook Road just before 1am on Friday where the front garden of a home was set alight.
Hampshire police says no one was inside the property at the time, and no one was injured as a result of the fire.
Mr Pankewycz appeared at Southampton Magistrates' court this morning, but no plea was given.
He has been remanded in custody and will now appear at Southampton Crown Court on October 12.
