THE latest coronavirus rate for Bolton has been revealed and it is a slight fall on yesterday's total.
Bolton infection rate is now 189.87 per 100,000 people, a slight fall on yesterday total of 192.0.
It remains the highest infection rate in Greater Manchester and one of the highest in the country.
There have been a total of 3,302 recorded cases to September 14, while there have been 546 cases in the week of September 5-11.
There have been 326 coronavirus-related deaths registered up to August 28.
The latest figures show one in every ten people getting a coronavirus test in Bolton receive a positive result – four times higher than the positivity rate just two weeks earlier.
Figures published by the UK government show that between August 28 and September 3, 168 tests were carried out per 100,000 people each day – the equivalent of 3,351 tests a week.
