TWO paramedics were threatened with a knife and 'detained' while responding to a call.

The pair had the threats made against them on Sunday at a home in Tudor Close, Gosport, and were prevented from leaving for around 20 minutes, police say.

Officers then responded after being called by South Central Ambulance Service at 5.50pm.

No-one was hurt and a woman was arrested shortly after we attended

Kylie Mancell, 32 of Tudor Close, has subsequently been charged with common assault of an emergency worker and false imprisonment.

She will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.
