A MAN has been charged with a string of offences after allegedly assaulting children.

Mohammad Siddiqui, 54, has been charged with a total of 34 offences after a joint investigation involving Hampshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police.

The alleged incidents happened in Hampshire, the West Midlands, Thames Valley, London, Dorset, and Wiltshire between 2015 and 2018, during circumcision procedures.

Siddiqui, from the Hockley area of Birmingham, is charged with offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, administering prescription-only medicine when not an appropriate practitioner, and causing unnecessary suffering to a child.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 6.
