A CHRISTMAS shoebox appeal has been launched to help children who might not get anything this year.
Fareham Rotary Club have now launched their Christmas shoebox appeal
The project is asking people to create gift packages to send to disadvantage children in other countries.
People can create boxes for boys or girls and in four different age categories.
Contents could include things like hats, gloves, toothbrush, soft toy or a book.
International lead Jon Richards said: "Our aim is to put a smile on the faces of children who might not otherwise receive presents this Christmas."
Completed boxes can be dropped off at Rotary Wheel House, Hill Head in Salterns car park on October 9 10-12.30pm.
