The University of Southampton has risen five places in a national University guide.
The university is now joint 15th overall in The Times and The Sunday Time Good University Guide 2021.
In the Guide’s subject rankings, the University is number one for Physiotherapy for the second successive year, placing a further 14 subjects in the top 10 as well.
Southampton President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark E Smith, said: “I am pleased to see our rise to 15th in the Good University Guide.
"For the second time this year we have shown the strongest rise in performance for those already in the top 20.
"I would like to thank colleagues for all of the hard work, dedication and excellence in our research, enterprise and education endeavours across the University which this result reflects.
"It is a great piece of news as we approach the new academic year.”
The Good University Guide is compiled using indicators focused on student satisfaction with items including teaching quality and the wider student experience.
