A JCB digger has been destroyed in an early morning blaze.
Firefighters raced to Dumbleton's Copse near to Kanes Hill at around 5.30am today.
A JCB was left "50 per cent damaged by fire" with a crew from Hightown Fire Station attending the incident.
Police were at the scene with the stop message coming in shortly after 6am.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services said: "One crew from Hightown was mobilised at 5.29am this morning to Copse View.
"There was a JCB digger on fire in woodlands.

"The vehicle was 50% [damaged] by fire and extinguished using a hose reel.
"Police were also in attendance and the stop message came in at 6.08am."
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire Police for comment.
