A Hampshire man has been jailed following a crash which left three people injured.
Michael Fenton, 45, of Froxfield Road in Havant, was charged with dangerous driving, driving without a licence, drug driving and driving without insurance.
The charges followed a collision which took place December 12 2019 on Bartons Road, Havant in which a Seat Ibiza collided with a Citroen Nemo.
Three people were injured in the crash, including both drivers and a passenger in the Seat.
Fenton was sentenced to six months in prison and disqualified from driving for 21 months.
Hampshire Roads Policing Team tweeted a photo taken of the aftermath of the crash which showed a heavily damaged vehicle.
In the post, they described the sentence given as a “great result.”
The post read: “Great result from court for a driver who was impaired with drugs as well as being uninsured and unlicensed. 6 months in prison and 21 month disqualification. Injured parties still recovering from December 2019.”
