Arron Doyle
A HAMMER-WIELDING man has been jailed for four years.
Arron Doyle burst into a flat in Stoke Road, Gosport wielding a hammer and making threats.
The 39-year-old of no fixed address damaged doors during the attempted robbery which happened in the early hours of October 25 last year.
The incident is reported to have initially arisen in the street outside with police arresting Doyle a short while later.
He pleaded guilty to attempted robbery at Portsmouth Crown Court on 5 August this year.
Today he appeared at the same court where he was given a four-year prison sentence.
