MY WIFE and I just attended the flu clinic this morning Saturday the 3rd of October at Abbeywell Surgery in Romsey for people and households who had been shielding during lock down and were so impressed at the smooth running of the whole operation it was amazing, fantastically well organised and we were in and out in under two minutes. very impressive.
There was a person on the car park directing people to the person on the door who communicated with two colleagues (all two metres apart) who signalled when a nurse or doctor was free so the next person could enter.
Inside I counted at least seven rooms each had two people in, one at the door standing up giving the jabs and one at a desk putting the details on the system.
It would be great if you could give a big well done to the practice, staff and helpers and a massive thank you from us and I am sure all those who attended will feel the same.
All too often people are quick to criticise the NHS local provision of services and not the good things, today was exceptional and deserves a mention
