A GOSPORT flasher has been handed a community order after he exposed himself to a woman.
The court heard how Michael James Champion intentionally exposed himself inappropriately on February 27 in Gosport.
The 36-year-old exposed his genitals in a bid to cause alarm and distress to his victim, the magistrates were told.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Champion, of Landon Road, Gosport, was handed a community order and is required to register with police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for the next five years.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
