PROUD parents across Hampshire have introduced us to their lovely new bundles of joy.
These 12 much-loved little ones have arrived at Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton, Winchester’s Royal Hampshire County Hospital, other hospitals and birth centres across the county or at home recently.
They are captured sleeping or smiling or having a snuggle in the hours, days and weeks after coming into the world.
Our popular new arrivals page was launched in the summer with a 12-page lockdown babies supplement featuring 108 babies born in our region during Covid lockdown restrictions.
It has continued to feature a dozen babies each week since in the Daily Echo and online each Thursday.
All of these babies are still being born into a weird world dominated by Covid restrictions. Giving birth and having a new baby under these conditions is a different and daunting experience and we’re aiming to celebrate all the new babies by introducing them to the world, including family and friends who have not yet been able to meet their loved one, through our pages.
We would love to see more pictures of your new arrivals so we can spread some much-needed cheer.
Maybe you have a unique birth story to tell or would like to share your gratitude to hospital staff.
