A TRAFFIC accident which blocked a major Southampton route has now been cleared.
The crash involving "two black cars" blocked one lane of the eastbound A35 near to the Redbridge Flyover just before the M271.
Motorists were warned of 30-minute delays on Salisbury Road and Commercial Road between Testwood Lane and the A35 Totton Bypass.
However, all eastbound lanes have now been cleared with delays said to be easing.
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire police for comment.
