Hampshire police have arrested a woman for suspected drink driving after a car ended up submerged in a river in Fareham.
The shocking crash saw a Vauxhall Astra fully submerged into the River Wallington but luckily no one was hurt.
Hampshire Constabulary were called to Wallington Way at 2.50am on Thursday (October 8) to reports of a Vauxhall Astra having crashed into the River Wallington at the Delme Roundabout, Fareham.

A 38-year-old woman from Gosport has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in relation to the crash.
The roads policing unit have now dragged the destroyed car out of the river with a recovery truck.
