FOUR Hampshire restaurants are to close following a challenging six months brought with the coronavirus crisis.

Koh Thai restaurants in Romsey, Winchester, Ringwood and Lymington will not be reopening after the Koh brand struggled this year due to government regulations imposed earlier this year.

Bournemouth's Koh Thai restaurant at Poole Hill is set to reopen next week and branches at Lilliput, Poole, and Southsea are already trading.

This means 70 jobs have been saved, and the brand has reduced prices to offer better value.

In a status on Facebook, the restaurant team said: "We are now pleased to announce that as of 5th October 2020 we are officially back.

"Sadly, we are slightly reduced in size, but we are still the same Koh, with the same friendly teams and new improved menu.

"We have even reduced the prices to offer better value.

"Koh Southsea and Lilliput are both already open and ready to take your bookings, with Bournemouth following shortly."
