A MAN who fled the scene of a car crash has been banned from the roads.
Christian Toby Olsen damaged a fence, sign and tree in Blundell Lane, Burseldon during a crash on December 28 last year.
The 41-year-old of Firecracker Driver, Locks Heath was later charged with driving without due care and attention, damaging property, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He pleaded guilty.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, he was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months.
Olsen will be on a four-month electronic curfew from 7pm to 6am each day. He has been banned from the roads for six months and fined £450.
He must pay a £122 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
