POLICE are hunting two people who robbed a security guard outside a branch of McDonald's.
A G4S guard was assaulted in the car park of the Swaythling branch of McDonald's just before midday yesterday.
He had just collected money from a safe inside the building when he was robbed.
A police spokesman said: "A cash box containing a quantity of money was subsequently stolen, with the suspects fleeing from the scene.
"Did you see what happened? Were you in the area at the time? Did you capture the incident on a mobile phone or have dash cam footage?"
Police have not said how the robbers made their getaway.
