A SOUTHAMPTON pensioner caught drink driving has been banned from the roads.
John Edwards Stelling was caught drink driving in a Range Rover on Latimer Street in Southampton on May 9.
The 76-year-old was found to have 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Stelling, of Latimer Street, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fiend £100.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £50.
