A SEARCH has been launched for three men seen tampering with letterboxes.

Officers have reported letterboxes being tampered with and post being stolen between September 30 and October 3 in the Nelson Lane area of Portchester.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and would like to identify and speak with the people pictured as part of the investigation.

They are also investigating whether the incident is linked to another in Clarendon Road, Portsmouth, between September 3 and September 7 where post was stolen from a man’s house, and credit cards were taken out in his name.

It is believed the post was stolen to apply for the credit cards.

Anyone who can identify the men pictured is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44200380947.
