A GANG of three men have attacked a delivery driver during a racially aggravated robbery.
Three men attacked a delivery driver when he returned to his motorbike in Bernard Street, Southampton last night.
They hurled racist abuse at him during the incident reported between 6.20pm and 7.20pm.
A police spokesperson said: "We received a report that between 6.20pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 14 October, a delivery driver returned to his motorbike in Bernard Street when he was approached by three men who assaulted him whilst making racially abusive comments and stole his motorbike. Officers are investigating this as a racially aggravated robbery.
"Anyone who saw anything or has any information is asked to call us on 101 quoting 44200400439."
Police later received a report of three men on motorbikes being surrounded by delivery drivers in Mansell Park.
Officers are said to have attended but no arrests were made.
