A SOUTHAMPTON man found carrying a stun gun and cannabis has been handed a community order.
Daniel Jason Albert Chesters was found to be carrying a weapon designed to discharge an electric charge in Southampton on January 3.
The 23-year-old was also found to be carrying 11 grams of cannabis.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the possession of a weapon and the possession of cannabis.
Chesters, of Oakridge Road, Southampton, was handed a community order and fined £46.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
The stun gun and cannabis was seized by police.
