IF YOU live within a reasonable distance of your workplace why not consider cycling there?
You do not need to cycle every day.
Would Monday, Wednesday and Friday be a good routine?
If you live many miles from your workplace consider riding your bike to a convenient train station etc.
Maybe keep a diary of the miles cycled each year.
If you cycled 10 miles a week for 20 years, imagine the savings you could make.
If you have had one of those days at work that haven't gone to plan, at least when you get home you will have maintained your level of fitness.
I live in Woolston and for 26 years I worked in Eastleigh.
For 23 of those years I cycled there two or three days a week.
It was a good routine.
