Members of the Eastleigh Town Centre Action Group gathered outside the councils offices.
In Eastleigh, Peacocks, Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Ponden Home are all closing.
Lots of the charity shops have also closed.
Store Twenty-One is still vacant.
Eastleigh is rapidly becoming a ghost town and the council's answer is to close Market and High Street to traffic.
Has anyone from the council actually walked those streets?
They have some of the widest pavements I have ever seen in a town centre.
They are going to review it next April 2021, the only thing is they will not have any shops left.
