A VULNERABLE woman was safeguarded and a man removed from an address after police checks were carried out.
Officers checking for so-called cuckooing - where the homes of vulnerable people are taken over by county lines drug dealers - visited an address in East Dorset on Friday afternoon.
A police spokesman said: "East Dorset county lines team attended one of our regular cuckooing checks on a vulnerable female on Friday afternoon.
"A male was located at the address, who due to a previous domestic assault had bail conditions not to be at the address and not to contact her. As a result, the female was safeguarded and the male was removed from the property whilst he assisted officers with their enquiries."
