A MOTORCYCLIST has been arrested for drug offences after being stopped and searched.
The incident happened at 11.40am last Friday on Maddoxford Lane.
Police pulled over a motorcyclist who was allegedly driving dangerously and erratically.
Upon speaking to the driver, officers say there was 'a strong smell of cannabis'.
A search of the individual was then conducted.
In searching the rider's backpack officers seized an amount of herbal cannabis, as well as cash and a mobile phone.
An 18-year-old man from Waltham Chase was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
He was released under investigation with enquiries ongoing.
