A MAN has narrowly avoided a driving ban after being caught over the drug driving limit.
Luke Hansen, 23, of Main Road, Colden Common, was caught by the police in Mare Lane, Owslebury, on March 2 in charge of a 07-reg Ford Fiesta when the above the legal limit.
His reading was 7.0ug micrograms of drug per litre of blood when the legal limit is 2ug meaning he was more than three times the legal limit.
Hansen was in court to plead guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and was fined £132 with a £32 victim surcharge with £85 costs and ten penalty points were added to his licence.
