Southampton drink driver banned from roads
A SOUTHAMPTON man caught drink driving as been banned from the roads.
Sorin Gheorghe was found to be drink driving on St Mary's Road on April 23.
The 36-year-old was found to have 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Gheorghe, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £80.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
