MANY people assume that Rotary is for men only.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
A top priority for Rotary is growing and diversifying our membership to make sure we reflect the communities we serve.
This is why we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
Lady members have been welcome at Hythe & Waterside Rotary for almost 15 years and although during that time there has been more, currently there are 3 lady members.
We elected our first lady President in 2018 – 2019.
Rotary celebrates and welcomes the contributions of people of all backgrounds.
There are also different types of membership to accommodate the type of support an individual is able to give.
