IT SEEMS the government and their so called experts continue to flounder their way through the current pandemic.

Their current thinking seems to move along the lines that a lockdown either locally or nationally will in some way eradicate the virus.

Should lockdown occur only locally then come that lockdown ending the virus will be reintroduced from other sources.

Should lockdown become national one must still eat, sometimes work, take children to school, lorry drivers require mates, shops require deliveries.

So, lockdown is not total.

Any actions taken will only extend the period of infection.

Surely amongst other actions the powers that be have gone to great expense in building the Nightingale hospitals.

Why are they not now taking the afflicted and leaving our hospitals to deal with the ever increasing backlog of cancer, liver, heart disease et al in the knowledge that the Covid cases are dealt with elsewhere.
