POLICE are dealing with a serious crash after a driver went the wrong way up a busy Hampshire road.
Officers say it was "amazing" no one was injured in the accident which happened at about 7am this morning.
The accident involved two cars and happened on the A3 just north of Petersfield and closed one lane.
Hampshire Road Traffic Police said it happened when one motorist drove the wrong way on the road and was turning round.
In a statement on twitter officer said: "The driver of the black car was in the process of turning round having made a mistake going south on the north bound.
"Amazingly no persons injured, but lane 2 closed whilst we await "
