I've just read your article about Eastleigh becoming a ghost town.
And it indeed is, so many empty shops particularly along High Street.
Also, Bon Marche, which l believe is part of the same group as Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Ponden Mill & Peacocks, they also have a closing down sale.
I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and l struggle with walking any distance.
Eastleigh is ideal for me for shopping because all along High Street & Market Street there are seating areas.
There are also normally seating areas in The Swan Centre.
I think some of these have been removed because of Covid19 and distancing.
In which case, this makes shopping in the centre a bit more challenging.
I have always and would like to continue supporting Eastleigh Town Centre by doing the majority of my shopping there.
