WHEN are people going to stop whinging about loss of liberty concerning Covid.
Surely they understand that unless there is an alternative this is the only possible course of action.
These actions have been taken because a second wave of virus has emerged and the death rate is creeping up again.
Towards the end of the first world war influenza which is similar to Covid wiped out 40 to 50 million people world wide, far more people died than those who perished in the first world war. Back in 1918 there was no social distancing no lockdown no vaccine and no health service hence the massive loss of life.
The virus finally disappeared by its own accord after 40 odd million people had lost their lives, the size of a country ,do we really want to see this happen again.
