Hampshire Constabulary has asked the public to be on the lookout for a car they believe may be connected to the robbery of an elderly man.

The car is described as an “old style”, dark coloured, left hand drive BMW 5 Series which has a Polish number plate possibly starting with FZE or PZE.

The robbery it may be linked to was committed against a 68-year-old man in Liphook who had a Rolex watch stolen.

The man was dropping off dry-cleaning on Station Road at 2pm on Tuesday October 20 when he was approached by a woman aged between 17 and 25.

The two spoke and a struggle ensued.

The man later realised his Rolex watch, described as steel and gold with a royal blue face and white and gold hands - was missing.

It is believed immediately after the robbery the woman got into the BMW which was parked nearby.

The woman is described as white, slim and about 5’6 tall with light brown hair and a light face mask.

She was wearing a white or grey fleece, blue jeans and white trainers.

Two similar robberies took place in July in Ringwood and Emsworth.

In both robberies male victims had Rolex watches snatched after being approached by a woman.

Police are asking anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
