NORTH Shropshire is on standby for a yellow weather warning as the last week of October threatens to bring more rain to the area.
Two yellow weather warnings for heavy rain are in place for the end of the week – Thursday and Friday – for much of west and central Wales.
However, with high winds expected during the week, residents around Oswestry are being warned of potential heavy rain coming into the area from the south west.
Towns in the middle of both warnings are being warned to expect some flooding while transport into the area from coastal towns may also be affected.
