A SOUTHAMPTON man caught drink driving on a motorway has been banned from the roads.
Craig Matthew Manship was caught drink driving on the M27 near Portsmouth on September 22.
The 43-year-old was found to have 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Manship, of Mortimer Road, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £400.
He was also order to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85.
