A SOUTHAMPTON man who "violently bullies and harassed" his ex partner threatened to turn up at her work and home.
Richard Anthony Baker appeared in court on October 26 following three months of harassing his ex.
The court heard how the 38-year-old "violently bullied and harassed" his victim between May 7 and August 11 this year.
Baker harassed his victim by phone, and made threats to attend her home address and lace of work while aware that she did not want any contact with him.
It was found that the offence was aggravated through his use of alcohol.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to harassment.
Baker, of Romsey Road, Southampton, was committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 24 months.
Baker was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting his ex partner directly or indirectly including electronically, and from arriving at her address or place of work for a 12 month period.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.
