A CARE home has confirmed that four residents have tested positive for Covid-19.
Orchard Gardens on Garnier Drive, Eastleigh has been carrying out whole home repeat testing to help prevent the spread of the virus.
This has led to the four cases being identified and the individuals are now isolating in line with government guidelines.
Other residents and colleagues have been updated on the situation and the care home is continuing to follow Public Health England guidance.
Brenda Roach, District Manager, for Orchard Gardens said: “We take the safety of residents and our colleagues very seriously and are taking all the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus.
"The wellbeing of our residents and colleagues is paramount.”
