A HAMPSHIRE man has been fined after he was caught carrying a knife.
Harry Oliver Broadbent, 20, was caught with a hunting knife in Priory Park on Elizabeth Way in Bishop's Waltham.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to carrying a blade in a public place.
Broadbent, of Winchester Road, Bishops Waltham, was handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days and fined £25.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95. There was no order for costs.
The knife was forfeited and will be destroyed.
