A FIRE at a 'derelict building' is now being treated as an arson.
The incident took place on Anglesey Road, Gosport last Friday.
Fire crews from 10 different stations used eight pumps and two water carriers to fight the blaze.
Police were called at 6.30pm that evening and now say they are now investigating the case as an arson.
The fire is said to have caused substantial damage to the building and officers are now appealing for witnesses.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers investigating have conducted a number of enquiries over the weekend and are now turning to the public for help.
"Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you saw someone enter the building?
"Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 with the reference 44200431804."
