A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after being stopped on a city road.
The incident took place at around 3.30pm yesterday on The Avenue, Southampton.
Patrolling officers stopped a vehicle as they suspected the driver had no licence or insurance.
The driver, a 58-year-old man from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and driving without insurance.
He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
