There have been some Interesting programmes about the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the centenary of the London Cenotaph. These programmes included awesome images of the graves of service men such as the 12000 in the Tyn Cot cemetery in Belgium - a sobering sight indeed.

These scenes are a good benchmark or personal scale for imagining the 50,000+ deaths we currently have from Covid which would require four such cemeteries to accommodate those who have died so far. Complacency and bad decisions by our Government at the beginning of this pandemic will one day require some explanation.
