A MAN caught almost twice the drug driving limit has been banned from the roads.
Robert McCall was caught behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Insignia in St Mary Street, Southampton.
Following a drugs test, he was found to have 17 micrograms of cocaine in his blood - the legal limit is ten micrograms.
The 53-year-old of Green Lane, Hamble had more than 200 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine - a breakdown product of cocaine in his blood.
He pleaded guilty to the offences which happened on May 15 and was banned from driving for 12 months at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.
McCall must pay a £100 fine and £34 victim surcharge.
