FIRE crews have been called to two separate bush fires within an hour of each other.
Crews from Hardley Fire Station were called at 11.36pm last night to a bush fire on Roman Road, Hythe.
The blaze is said to have been quickly extinguished using one hose reel and one thermal imaging camera.
No sooner had they finished putting out that fire though, when they were called to another one, 1 mile away from the first.
Firefighters from Hythe and Hardley were in attendance after a report of a bush fire in Yelverton Avenue, Hythe.
The larger bush fire took two hose reel jets to extinguish.
The cause of the fires is not yet known and details have been handed to police to aid their investigations.
Just after finishing at our last job, we are mobilised to a second fire in #Hythe less than 1 mile from the first. 2 Hose reels used to bring this larger fire under control & further details passed to @WatersideCops.
