A GROUP of 'suspicious' teenagers fled police and left behind two bikes and a handbag.
Fareham Police say officers were on patrol when they came across a "large group" of youths outside Stubbington Library.
The group, who all appeared to be aged about 16, noticed the marked police car and fled the scene.
A Hampshire Constabulary statement says: "Officers left the vehicle and searched the area - they found two bikes and a handbag.
"Not only were the group in clear breach of the current COVID regulations, but the fact that they ran on seeing a ipolice vehicle is considered suspicious.
"We will be monitoring the area on coming shifts to deter any further breaches.
"If the items in the photos attached are yours, please do get in touch."
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
