A SOUTHAMPTON teenager has been slapped with a £1,000 fine after he dumped household waste on a city street.
Bradley McKenner fly tipped a bath, basin, toilet cistern and broken tiles on land at Roman Road in Southampton around the date of December 9 last year.
The 19-year-old carried and illegally disposed of the waste while he was not licensed to do so.
The court also heard how McKenner carried out business as a scrap metal dealer while not authorised by a licence.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of fly tipping, one count of carrying waste without a licence, and one count of carrying out business as a scrap metal dealer without a licence.
McKenner, of Dewent Road, Southampton, was fined a total of £1,100 for the crimes.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £110 and court costs of £1,084.
